Class of 1971
40-Year Reunion

The Class of 1971 is currently planning their 40-year class reunion which is scheduled to take place during homecoming weekend, October 14th and 15th, 2011. Many details still need to be worked out and will be posted as soon as they are known. For now, the reunion committee is trying to gather contact information for as many of the members of the Class of '71 as they can.

If you were in the Class of 1971, please email your contact information to the reunion committee along with contact information for any other classmates you might have. And ask your other classmates from the Class of '71 to do the same. The reunion committee needs this information in order to provide everyone with the final details of the reunion once they are worked out.

Class of 1981
30-Year Reunion

The Class of 1981 is currently planning their 30-year class reunion that is scheduled to take place during homecoming weekend, October 14th and 15th, 2011. Here's what has been planned so far:

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14th

5:30 P.M. - Tailgate in front of the school before the Ruston High football game. Food and drinks will be provided. The school will be open for tours.

7:00 P.M. - sit together in the Cat Box at the homecoming game.

After the game meet at Sundown Tavern on Park Avenue in downtown Ruston on the outside patio. Snacks and soft drinks will be provided. A cash bar will be set up on site.

The cost will be $25 per person.

Other details still need to be worked out and will be posted as soon as they are known.

Class of 1986
25-Year Reunion

The Class of 1986 is currently planning their 25-year class reunion that is scheduled to take place during homecoming weekend, October 14th and 15th, 2011. The reunion committee has tried to make this a low-key and a low-cost reunion in hopes that everyone will make an effort to attend.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14th

7:00 P.M. - come to the RHS vs North Desoto football game at James Stadium. Tickets for the game are $7.00 for general admission, but if you purchase a reserved seat ticket, you will be able to visit with people in the reserved section of the stadium as well as sit with your fellow classmates in the Cat Box. Please feel free to bring your entire family so everyone can meet your spouse and kids!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th

8:00 P.M. - party at 3 Docs Brewhouse at 2550 West Alabama Avenue in Ruston - one of Ruston's newest entertainment spots. The new owners have renovated the old "Cue Stick" into a very clean establishment that offers pool tables, a few games, a patio and great music!

Heavy hors d'oeuvres, tea and water will be provided. Other beverages are available at the bar.

Bring your yearbooks, photographs, or anything else you would like to share with your fellow classmates.

The cost for the evening is $20.00 single, or $30.00 for a couple. You can send your payment in early to:

Paying in advance will help the committee to know how many people to prepare for and to help pay the deposit for the venue, but if necessary, the fee can also be paid the night of the party.

Class of 1991
20-Year Reunion

The Class of 1991 is currently planning their 20-year class reunion that is scheduled to take place during homecoming weekend, October 14th and 15th, 2011. Here's what has been planned so far:

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14th

5:30 P.M. - Tailgate before the Ruston High football game near the ticket box. Look for the tent and balloons. Bill Cox's famous Jambalaya will be served.

7:00 P.M. - sit together at the homecoming game.

After the game meet at Portico Bar & Grill on Farmerville Road (1821 Northpointe Lane, directly across from Davison Transport) in Ruston.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th

8:00 A.M. - there will be a 5K and a 10K walk/run for men and women at the Bobby James Gym, 605 James Street (across from RHS Stadium). All proceeds from the walk/run will be donated to Breast Cancer Awareness. You can download the registration form HERE. You can also register online HERE. Late registration will begin at 7:00 A.M.

10:00 A.M. - tour of Ruston High School.

10:30 A.M. - meet at Lincoln Parish Park by the playground for a play day with the kids.

7:00 P.M. - meet at Sundown West on Park Avenue in downtown Ruston outside on the patio. Appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar set up.
