2011 Alumni Awards Luncheon

The annual Ruston High School Distinguished Teacher and Alumni Awards Luncheon will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Squire Creek Country Club. There will be a social time beginning at 11:00 am to allow for those who attend to visit. The luncheon will begin promptly at 11:30 am, followed by the presentation of the awards.

Tickets for the luncheon are $30.00 each. Tickets may be purchased at Community Trust Bank on North Trenton Street beginning September 15, 2011. Tickets may also be obtained by contacting Pat Kavanaugh Tippit at 255-7750 or by email.

Retired Teacher	Norris "Bud" Alexander - coach, teacher & assistant principal
Deceased Teacher	Morgan Peoples - history teacher & assistant principal

Distinguished Alumni	Duddy Garrett, Class of 1957 - tireless volunteer worker at RHS
	Robert Lewis, Class of 1967 - pastor in Little Rock and nationally known author and speaker
	Zane Skinner, Class of 1941 - decorated soldier in World War II and former head of the Port Authority in Houston, Texas

Distinguished Young Alumni	Ryan Dick, Class of 1991 - U. S. Navy Seal
